Shanna N. Valenti
Shanna N. Valenti attended Westminster College in Fulton, MO, where she graduated with a B.A. in History. She earned her Juris Doctorate from Southern Illinois University School of Law in Carbondale, IL where she graduated Cum Laude. She earned her Juris Doctorate from SIU School of Law in 2014. Shanna is admitted to practice law in Illinois.
During Shanna’s undergraduate career, she was a four year captain of the Women’s Volleyball Team. Shanna broke the school record for most career digs her senior year. Shanna was also named the Female Student-Athlete of the Year her senior year and continues to play in volleyball leagues in the western suburbs.
While in Law School, Shanna was a member of the SIU Law Journal, where she was selected a CaseNote/Comment Editor of the journal her 3L year. Additionally, Shanna was selected as a Taylor Mattis Fellow where she mentored 1L students during weekly meetings.
Shanna is a member of the DuPage County Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association, and Chicago Bar Association. She is also a member of the DuPage Association of Women Lawyers.
In her spare time, Shanna enjoys playing with her three dogs (Max, Maddie, and Murphy), going to the gym, and spending time with family and friends.
